Since 2017, Lafayette has participated in Campus Sustainability Month each October.
Events happen all throughout October to highlight the work done by the Office of Sustainability and to provide hands on ways for students to be involved. Events are focused around the pillars of sustainability; food & farm, waste & reuse, biodiversity, and energy.
Our 2020 Calendar:
Our Sustainability Month 2019 featured a talk by Lafayette alumnus Ross Gay ’96 about environmental poetry.
The kick-off event for the 2018 Sustainability Month included a recycled paper and reusable bag making workshop.
Events from Sustainability Month 2017 included Eat Local Challenges, volunteering at LaFarm, career talks, and outdoor yoga.
