Every April, we celebrate and educate on sustainability initiatives and themes throughout the month in recognition of Earth Day.

Sustainability is intertwined into many disciplines, themes, and ideas. During Earth Month, our campus community brings these themes together to showcase the importance of sustainability education and initiatives in recognition of Earth Day. Any club, department, or organization is welcome to submit an event or table at Earth Month’s flagship event, EarthFest.

See below the events scheduled for April 2024, including this year’s Earth Month Keynote Address and Upcycling Workshop (register here!), presented by artist, entrepreneur and founder of DNA Sustainable Threds, Clementina Martinez-Masarweh. Clementina “The Sustainable Latina” Martínez-Masarweh, is a boundary-breaking artist captivating audiences on fashion runways and art galleries, with her transformative work on textile waste, plastic pollution, and environmental justice.
