Every April, Lafayette hosts a month full of activities, programs, and initiatives in recognition of Earth Day.

Join us for the Pastor Lecture Speaker, Maria Fernandez Espinosa. Her Excellency Ms. Espinosa Garcés has written over 30 academic articles about the Amazon region, culture, heritage, sustainable development, climate change, intellectual property, foreign policy, regional integration, defense and security. Weigh the Waste

Did you know, one third of food produced for human consumption is lost or wasted globally? Food waste is central to some of the key challenges facing the world today, including hunger and poverty, climate change, health and wellbeing and the sustainability of agriculture and oceans. This lecture will reflect on a decade of research on market-based approaches to conserve forests, arguing that there really is very little market in market-based environmental policies, and that maybe that's a good thing.
