Every April, we celebrate and educate on sustainability initiatives and themes throughout the month in recognition of Earth Day.

Sustainability is intertwined into many disciplines, themes, and ideas. During Earth Month in April, our campus community brings these themes together to showcase the importance of sustainability education and initiatives in recognition of Earth Day.

Registration is OPEN to table at EarthFest 2026, which will be held on Wednesday, April 22nd from 3-6pm on the Quad at Lafayette. Student groups, departments, local vendors and organizations are all invited to register for a table to be a part of this Earth Day celebration. Register on the online portal by March 22nd.

If you’re starting to plan your event and are looking for some ideas, explore the 30 events offered last April 2025 below sponsored by over 25 different clubs, departments and organizations. Events ranged from speaker presentations, to activities, to celebrations and more. Get involved to learn and engage with the Lafayette and local community.
