Throughout the 2025-2026 academic year, Lafayette will be hosting sessions to develop, get feedback on, and engage the campus community on the creation of Climate Action Plan 3.0. We invite you to join an upcoming session to be a part of this integral planning process for the college on the journey to carbon neutrality. Session dates and times are below as well as materials from previous sessions.

December 2025 – RSVP HERE

Students, faculty and staff are invited to join upcoming sessions to give feedback on and develop CAP 3.0.

December’s session will focus on Preliminary Climate Action Plan 3.0 Pathways for Greenhouse Gas Reduction and Resiliency Strategies which will detail draft decarbonization, resiliency and adaptation goals and strategies.

The meeting will be held Thursday, December 4th from 12:15-1:15pm at Oechsle 224 (Old Oechsle) at the Sustainability Community Meeting. RSVP Here

Preliminary Climate Action Plan 3.0 Recommendations - November 5-7, 2025

Sessions were focused on our Preliminary Climate Action Plan 3.0 Recommendations which detailed draft decarbonization, resiliency and adaptation goals and strategies.

Additionally, supplementary sessions on Lafayette’s State of Sustainability were offered, focused on Lafayette’s overall sustainability efforts and also offer an update on Climate Action Plan 3.0’s draft vision and principles.
