Erica Albertson '24 (She/Her/Hers)

Erica is a senior biology major and environmental science minor. She is also involved in lafayette outdoors society and volunteers with Easton Garden Works. Erica is passionate about ecology and conservation and is excited to contribute to sustainability efforts on campus.

Nitasha is a sophomore studying Civil Engineering. On campus, she is an Eco Rep and a board member of the South Asian Students Association. Nitasha is passionate about diverting waste from landfills and is excited to be part of the team!

Pierson is a senior majoring in civil engineering and minoring in anthropology and sociology. Pierson is involved with Chi Phi and The Lafayette newspaper as a Photographer. As a new member of the team, Pierson am excited to learn about how large institutions like Lafayette think about and manage challenges with sustainability.

Elena Thome '24 (She/Her/Hers)

Elena is a senior studying mechanical engineering. Outside of the Office of Sustainability she is on the Cheer Team, Student Government, Physics Club, and Engineering Student Council. She is most passionate about reducing the amount of waste our campus produces and finding a more efficient way to handle our trash system.

Ian Duffy '24 (He/Him/His)

Ian is a senior majoring in civil engineering and minoring in architectural studies. Outside of the Office of Sustainability he is in Engineers Without Boarders and Chi Phi. He is most passionate about sustainability building design, such as Passivhaus and Timber construction in place of steel and concrete.

Lindsay Correll '25 (She/Her/Hers)

Lindsay is a junior environmental engineering major. She is involved with the Lafayette Ski Team, Greek Life, Women’s Club Soccer Team, SWE, and is an Eco Rep. Lindsay cares about reducing carbon emissions in order to decrease human impact on the climate, and she is excited to help promote sustainable practices on campus!

Samuel Jackson '27 (He/Him/His)

Sam is a freshmen and a computer science major. He is also part of the America Reads tutoring program and is involved in the Lafayette Outdoors Club and Newspaper. Sam is deeply interested in the effects of environmental sustainability on the college and is confident we can work towards a more sustainable future.

Nathan is a junior integrative engineering major with a concentration in energy and the environment. Nathan is involved with Lafayette Soulfege Acapella, LIMS, Engineers without Boarders, and is an EXCEL scholar working with the Queer Archives Project. Nathan is passionate about sustainable urban planning and advancements in renewable energy.

Hannah is a sophomore environmental studies and international affairs. Hannah is also involved as a Lafayette Admissions Ambassador, the secretary of WJRH (Lafayettes Radio Station) and fraternity and sorority life. Hannah is passionate about sustainability in general and sustainable agriculture and food policy !

Shaykeen Rose '27 (He/Him/His)

Shay is a freshman with a major in bioengineering. He is a member of the composting team and also involved with the Lafayette African and Caribbean Student Association (LACSA), the Disciple Makers Christian Fellowship (DCF), the International Student Association (ISA), the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE), the percussion ensemble, and the sports medicine program. Shay is passionate about energy efficiency as well as climate change and is looking forward to aiding in waste reduction this year.

Wilson is a Sophomore currently majoring in Computer Science and Chinese. Wilson is also a member of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) Club. As a compost intern, Wilson is motivated by the benefits of composting to reduce environmental waste and provide food insecure families access to healthy and sustainable foods.

Jamie Bryan '25 (She/Her/Hers)

Jamie is a junior environmental science major and geology minor. Jamie is the president of Lafayette Environmental Awareness and Protection (LEAP) and also a member of Lafayette Ski Team, Delta Gamma, and a Chemistry Supplemental Instructor. Jamie is passionate about environmental education and sharing her knowledge with others and is excited to work with the Office of Sustainability to continue pursuing these passions.

Clara is a freshman biology major. She is involved in many activities and clubs including The Lafayette Newspaper, America Reads, POSP, LEMS Club, ACA, and volunteering at Lafarm. Clara is passionate about environmental protection and is looking forward to finding more sustainable food practices on campus.

Jackie is a junior policy studies major and economics minor. Jackie also serves on the board of the Lafayette Food and Farm Cooperative and is a Supplemental Instructor for econometrics. She loves learning about environmental policy and justice and is so excited to begin fostering a more sustainable community on campus.

Lili is a Sophomore from Chadds Ford PA, majoring in Environmental Studies with a minor in Government and Law. At Lafayette, Lili is a member of the Lafayette Crew team, the Dog House, and in Alpha Gamma Delta. She is so thrilled to be a part of the Eco-Reps team to encourage sustainable efforts across campus.

Annabelle is a Sophomore majoring in Government and Law and minoring in Environmental Studies. At Lafayette, Annabelle is the Women’s Team Captain on the Lafayette Crew team, a member of Alpha Phi, a volunteer at the Easton Urban Garden, and is an Eco Rep. Annabelle is passionate about environmental justice and is eager to promote sustainability and make an impact!

Bernadette is a senior environmental studies and english double major. On campus she is a Culture Editor for the Lafayette Student Paper, on the Club Ultimate Frisbee team, in Alpha Phi, and is the Events Director for WJRH Radio. She is looking forward to connecting with the Lafayette community and encouraging them to live sustainability.

Hazel is a freshman neuroscience major in communications. In the future, she hopes to get involved with the Lafayette Neuroscience Club and the Lafayette Association of Visual Arts. Hazel is also obsessed with sustainable fashion and horticulture and hopes to push new green initiatives on campus.

Ellie is a senior studying environmental studies and economics. Aside from working in the Office of Sustainability, Ellie is a member of LaFFCo and Alpha Phi. She is excited for this school year and is thrilled to be contributing to Lafayette’s sustainability goals.

Maddie Marriott '24 (She/Her/Hers)

Maddie is a senior studying English with a creative writing concentration and a minor in Government & Law. On campus, she is the Editor-in-Chief of The Lafayette, a mentor Writing Associate, Lafayette Communications student contributor, and Vice President of English Club. Within sustainability she is most passionate about shopping secondhand. She thinks it is important to minimize her contribution and the contributions of others to the fast fashion industry in any way possible.

Mia is passionate about environmental justice and sustainability and is excited to work towards building a more sustainable and equitable future.

Triniti is a senior studying integrative engineering with a concentration in environment and energy and a minor in mechanical engineering. On campus she is an Eco Rep, CBL research scholar, and in Lafayette DiscipleMakers Cristian Fellowship. She passionate about clean energy and advancing the global transition to renewables, regenerative agriculture, and various forms of individual action.

Jasmine is majoring in Computer Science and Spanish. Jasmine is involved with Prestigious Pardettes, Stress Less, and NIA:Women of Purpose. Jasmine focuses on zero waste and hopes to help normalize daily sustainable practices.

Mita Crane '26 (She/Her/Hers)

Mita is a sophomore economics and policy studies double major with a minor in Spanish. Outside of the Office of Sustainability, Mita spends her time doing Economics research, tutoring, and participating in a variety of extracurricular activities such as Ultimate Frisbee and orchestra. Mita is interested in the intersections between sustainability and social justice and is looking forward to developing her data processing skills through her work with the office this year.

Claribella Perez '26 (She/Her/Hers)

Claribella Perez, class of 26' is a dynamic and driven individual currently studying International affairs and Economics. Being that she is a life long learner Claribella consistently explores new opportunities on campus, participating in activities ranging from ISA and pottery club to LaFarm she showcases her diverse involvement on campus. Now as a member of the sustainability engagement team, she is exploring and contributing to sustainable practices on campus!

Alexis is a junior studying environmental science with an art minor. On campus she is also involved in the Lafayette Happiness Project, the Marquis Players, the Lafayette Newspaper, and the Arts Society. She is looking forward to increasing engagement in sustainability and understanding more about how individuals can contribute to environmental solutions.

Analise is a junior environmental studies and Chinese double major. Analise is also involved with Eco Reps and the Lafayette Christian Community. Analise is excited to increase the visibility of sustainability with faculty and staff on campus.

Melanie Acosta-Marcano '24 (She/Her/Hers)

Melie is a senior Anthropology & Sociology Major and WGSS minor. She is also a Social Media Assistant at the Lafayette College Media and Communications team and is conducting Food Justice research through the Bergh Scholars program. Melie is always excited to showcase her day-to-day sustainability efforts through fashion choices, digital content, and DIY crafts!
