Lafayette is committed to achieving a 40% diversion rate from the landfill by 2030 and 60% by 2035. Not all items can go in the traditional recycling waste stream, but that doesn’t mean they have to go to the landfill. Through partnerships with various TerraCycling programs, Lafayette offers recycling for the following items.
