Dispose of your e-waste responsibly

Lafayette hosts an annual E-waste Recycling event every Earth Week to dispose of electronics safely and ethically. Faculty, staff and students are able to recycle their items here. E-waste Recycling will be held on during Earth Week. Easton residents are encouraged to recycle their e-waste through city-wide events.

  • Desktop/laptop computers
  • DVD players & VCRs/gaming systems
  • Exercise equipment
  • Keyboards & mice
  • Laptop batteries
  • Large copiers & large machines
  • Microwaves/small counter top appliances
  • Power tools
  • Projectors
  • Small office & household printers
  • Small office & household scanners & fax machines
  • Smart boards
  • Stereos & speakers
  • Electric toothbrushes
  • Radios
  • CRT televisions/monitors and LCD “Flat” televisions/monitors

Nope, can’t recycle these at the E-waste Recycling event:

Lawn mowers, refrigerators, air conditioners, dehumidifiers, file cabinets, gas grills, metal desks, smoke detectors, or exit signs

 

In 2017, Lafayette recycled 12,981 pounds of electronics!
