Recycling is a slam dunk!

On December 1st, 2018 the Office of Sustainability and Lafayette Athletics teamed up to host the second annual RecycleMania Game Day competition. While the Women’s Basketball Team took on Albany, EcoReps and environmental volunteers instructed fans on what can be recycled and played recycling games with young fans.

The whole event was focused around encouraging fans to recycle through a friendly competition. Lafayette was able to increase the diversion rate to 78% (up 5% from the first RecycleMania event). Thanks to everyone to who participated and helped cheer on the Leopards to a double overtime victory!
